We are a SoCal band of 6, creating music that matters. Listen to the music, let it take you where you want to be. Angelshade began in 2009. A project created by Brad Hanna to collaborate and create a new sound in the San Diego area, evolved into something more. Members came and went, but Angelshade continues to evolve, adding new sounds as we connect through music.
Always energetic, we pour our heart into every song, whether in the rehearsal room or on stage. Angelshade has developed into a band to follow and proudly shares their music and message online, via streaming platforms and stages across the world.
The Band is comprised of vocalist Dave Marshall. Yolanda Johnston, backing vocalist. Bobby Martin lead guitarist. Rob Brewer, rhythm guitarist. Tedd Staub, Bass guitarist. James Giordano, drummer for Angelshade. Hailing from such places as Seattle, Colorado, New York and San Diego, the members of Angelshade provide a strong, powerful and meaningful message you can feel.
Our Influences
Our music blends rock and acoustic melodies to create a unique sound. Our lyrics are personal and inspired by our own lives and issues that we see and experience every day. We are influenced by not just one person or band but a culmination of artists that inspire and catch our attention.
What Inspires Us
Despite sharing many of the same interests and pastimes, we all are inspired by different things that lead us to work seamlessly in a creative setting. We take turns writing lyrics so we are all invested in each song and its meaning.
